Making the jump to the AERC

As many of us know (or are about to find out), the codes are a changing here in Alabama and in many other areas of the country. While most of the focus has been on the Energy portion, there are quite a few other changes in the “building” aspects which hardly ever get mentioned.

Besides the areas where there were no codes, many builders & inspection departments have only been dealing with codes ranging from 1997 to 2006 with most locals using the 2003. With that in mind, here are the slides from our Presentation on “Making the jump to the 2009 AERC codes” along with some quick tips, tricks & best practices…

As an FYI, if you would like more information on a subject, every slide that has a link showing is clickable & will open up in a new window.
