This is from a hotel I stayed at & I got to say the fumes & heat that it generates when it is on are not ideal. M1804.2.6.2 The vent terminal shall be located not less than 4 feet (1219 mm) below, 4 feet (1219 mm) horizontally from, or 1 foot (305 mm) above any door, window or gravity air inlet into a dwelling

    What kind of vent? Furnace or fart fan? I think “fumes and heat” could apply to either.

      I am guessing some sort of boiler or furnace – it isn’t always on, but when it does kick on…
