What’s this, another logo change for Building Moxie? Well no not exactly but it sure is an interesting story. As you may recall I originally met JB at the Remodeling & Deck Expo back in 2010 which was being held in Baltimore. The next year the show was in Chicago & the Building Moxie crew wanted to attend but… well they were short on funds so they started a campaign called the 106 miles to… Well long story short, quite a few of us pitched in along with some sponsors & the whole thing was a huge success.
How successful, well let’s just say that many of the sponsors approached JB about doing it again, but this time seeing it was in JB’s back yard, how about bringing someone else there and thus the 106 yard contest was born. Needless to say, I was “The Chosen One” and the rest as they say is history. So how was the show, which one is better, what does the world headquarters of Building moxie look like? Well if you would like to find out, check out my “semi-interview” on Building Moxie.
P.S. – Let me once again offer my thanks to JB & Barry for being great hosts & coming up with the contest and the fine folks at DAP Products, American Standard, Houzz and Wilsonart HD for making it possible. I would also like to thank the three judges; Mark & Theresa Clement of My Fix it Up Life, Leah Thayer of Daily 5 Remodel & Timothy Dahl of Charles & Hudson. I also have got to give some props to Alycia Wicker and her newest venture called Mupplebee for creating the “Chosen One” graphic for JB. Now no more delaying as the piece starts here…
