As many know, I do plenty of Energy Code Compliance Inspections, Consulting, etc… plus we have a ton of information on how to do things right on this site. Imagine my surprise when I walked into this job where they were still installing insulation & I saw this…

Instead of running the baffles all the way up like they should, they cut them in half & inserted 1/2 at the bottom & the other 1/2 at the top. What’s even funnier they had a ton of baffles still sitting there for them to do it properly from the start.
