Wacky Weds: Three Strikes &…

Wow three things in just one simple picture… ok granted one was allowed before by codes but it isn’t to smart. Scroll down & see if you caught all the issues & let us know how you did.

So how did you do?

  1. Panned joist as a return – notoriously leaky & now against code
  2. Running conduit through it (or romex or…) – Even worse is the conduit touches said ductwork now turning it also into a ground
  3. Last but not least – the dreaded “duck” tape being used on ducts though I got to say it is in pretty good shape 🙂
