For the third year in a row, we have been nominated to Construction Marketing’s Best Construction Blog Contest. This year there are a total of 30 blogs listed & the competition looks to be pretty tough. With that said, not only would we love for you to vote for us, we would like you to also consider checking out & voting for some other great blogs that have been nominated. (Yes you can vote for more than 1, but you can only vote once per email address)
Construction Marketing Ideas (Mark Buckshon) – besides being the creator of this contest, Mark Buckshon has constantly searched out, helped, & listed (for free) a great directory of bloggers related to the construction industry (Trades)
Best Practices Construction Law (Matt Devries) – yes, a blog by lawyer but the time spent just reading a post could save you not only a ton of fees, but making a costly mistake making said fees necessary (Trades)
The Blogging Painters (Chris Haught) – not just one, but quite an eclectic group of painters that truly show why they are professional painters & not afraid to put the information out there to help others (Trades & Home)
Burgin Construction (Rhonda Burgin) – ok, you don’t really have to vote for them as they probably have this contest in the bag already, but there is a good reason for it & worthy of checking out (Home)
Construction Law in North Carolina (Mellissa Brumback) – last year’s winner & yes another great lawyers blog (Trades)
Construction Law Musings (Christopher Hill): Sensing a theme now… Actually not only is he a great lawyer specializing in LEED & other aspects of the construction industry, but he also opens up his blog on Friday to those in different fields (Trades)
Construction Lien Blog (Scott Wolfe): Seriously I think this is it for law sites, but when you do a great job, you want to get paid, right… (Trades)
Homeowners and Trades Resource Center… oh wait that’s me (Home & Trades)
Kelly’s Kitchen Sync (Kelly Morisseau): As many of you may know, she has graciously posted on our site, written a great book which we reviewed & when all is done & said a great person & kitchen designer (Home & Trades)
Markup and Profit Blog (Michael Stone): If you are starting out, or having problems with your business, you should definitely check out his site and books – it could honestly be the life line you are looking for (Trades)
Let me just add one caveat, these are simply bloggers or sites I know & try to visit quite regularly (you may want to watch for a part two for some other great sites that aren’t here). There are a few listed that I have never heard of or seen before, but I know the companies or individuals & will have to check them out pretty soon. So if you spot one I didn’t list & they look interesting, be sure to check them out & let us know in the comments. Of course don’t forget to vote for the best blogs, and yes we would love your vote. Along the same lines, if there is something you would like to see us cover or improve be sure to let us know – I really do appreciate all the feedback we get. Thanks
